The Collaboratory Against Hate is maintaining a multidisciplinary list of project ideas related to combating hate and extremism. These ideas stem from conversations with external organizations working in this space. Please email us at CAH-info@lists.andrew.cmu.edu if any projects would be a good fit for a student or class project you are advising. Some projects may have an external organization interested in partnering with researchers.
